Team Matters provides a range of services including but not limited to:
• Leadership coaching (individual and team)
• Team facilitation and workshops
• Leadership development programs and academies
• Speaking and keynote presentations
• Consulting on team culture and performance
• Digital learning resources and materials
Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees for each engagement are confirmed in a separate proposal, statement of work, or service agreement. In the event of any conflict, the signed agreement takes precedence over these Terms.
An engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing (which may include email confirmation) to scope, fees, and start date. By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion, particularly where a working relationship is no longer aligned or constructive.
Fees are outlined in your proposal or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:
• Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
• Deposits or advance payments may be required to secure dates or begin work.
• Late payments may attract an administration fee or result in paused delivery.
• All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.
If you are experiencing difficulty with payment, please contact us early. We would rather have a conversation than let it become an issue.
We understand that plans change. Our general approach:
• Cancellations with more than 14 days’ notice: full refund of any deposit, or rescheduling at no charge.
• Cancellations within 14 days of a scheduled session: 50% of the session fee may be retained.
• Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows: full session fee applies.
Cancellation terms for multi-session programs or retainer engagements will be specified in your service agreement. Where Team Matters Ltd. needs to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative.
We take confidentiality seriously. What happens in a coaching or facilitation session stays there.
We will not share information you provide to us with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. This applies equally to your team members — what is shared in group sessions is held with care and discretion.
We may ask you to sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for longer engagements or where sensitive organisational information is involved.
As a client, you also agree to hold in confidence any proprietary frameworks, materials, or methodologies shared with you through our work together.
You are welcome to use materials provided to you for internal use within your organisation. You may not reproduce, resell, sublicence, or publicly share our materials without prior written consent.
The LEAD and FRESH frameworks, and all associated content and learning resources developed by Team Matters Ltd., are proprietary and protected. Use of these frameworks in any commercial or public context requires a separate licensing agreement.
Our work is most effective when participants come with openness, honesty, and a genuine willingness to engage. We do our part to create safe, supportive conditions — and we ask the same of everyone involved.
You are responsible for:
• Ensuring relevant participants are informed of and prepared for the engagement.
• Providing accurate information to help us design and deliver the best possible experience.
• Notifying us promptly of any changes to context, personnel, or circumstances that may affect the work.
We bring our full expertise, care, and commitment to every engagement. However, leadership development and team coaching involve human behaviour, and outcomes are never guaranteed.
Team Matters Ltd. provides services “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied, about specific outcomes, performance improvements, or results for individuals or organisations.
Nothing in our work constitutes legal, financial, medical, or psychological therapy advice. If a participant’s needs go beyond the scope of leadership coaching, we will say so and suggest appropriate support.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Matters Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months preceding the incident.
The content on our website (teammattersnow.com) is for general information and professional development purposes. While we aim to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees about completeness or currency.
You agree not to use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that could damage our reputation or the experience of others.
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website or services is used only for the purpose of delivering and improving our work with you. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify existing clients of any significant changes.
